This Hendrick Motorsports #25 Folgers Coffee Chevrolet Monte Carlo was raced by Rick Hendrick in the NASCAR Winston Cup, Western 500 at Riverside International Raceway on November 8, 1987. When Tim Richmond fell ill part-way through the 1987 season, it left a vacancy behind the wheel of the #25. Rather than keep his winning ride away from the track, Hendrick decided to don his helmet and strapped behind the wheel.
