This is the raced version of Martin Truex Jr's #8 (Bass Pro Shops) Chevrolet Monte Carlo. This car was driven to victory in the Kroger 200 at Indianapolis Raceway Park on August 6, 2005. Martin Truex Jr is one of only six drivers who have contributed to Dale Earnhardt Inc’s 100 wins tally. Notably, the win also marked a major high point for Dale Earnhardt Inc, Truex Jr’s parent team. With his 12th career victory, Truex Jr also collected Dale Earnhardt Inc’s 100th overall win.
