This is the 2003 Ralph Earnhardt Tribute / special paint scheme of Martin Truex Jr's #8 Chance 2 / Chevrolet Monte Carlo. Martin Truex Jr and Chance 2 Motorsports honored the grandfather of co-owner Dale Earnhardt Jr by running this special paint scheme at The Rock. This car was driven in the Target House 200 at North Carolina Speedway on November 8, 2003. The diecast replica includes a background feature story as to the reasoning behind the tribute, personally authenticated by Dale Earnhardt Jr.
